The Third Separate Assault Brigade reported details of the liberation of Andriyivka, Donetsk Region. As a result of the quick operation of the defenders, the enemy garrison of Andriivka was surrounded, cut off from the main forces and destroyed.

"As of now, the fighting is ongoing, our units continue to consolidate their positions," the defence officials said.
The brigade emphasised that the units of the 72nd Separate Mechanised Brigade had repeatedly suffered heavy losses and defeats in clashes with the Third Assault Force earlier.
"Now, after recovery and regrouping, the enemy has suffered a total failure," the defenders added.
Yesterday, Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar reported the liberation of Andriyivka. The 3rd Assault Brigade stated that the information is false, premature and noted that such actions harm the defenders. Malyar edited the post and said that the information had been agreed with the military, but that there was a "communication failure." The General Staff officially reported the liberation of Andriyivka on the morning of 15 September.
