The national energy company Ukrenergo has said that a thermal power plant in southern was damaged by massive Russian shelling last night.
To maintain a balance between electricity consumption and production, the company limited the operation of wind and solar power plants during the daytime hours of 10:30 to 15:20.
The scheduled maintenance at other power plants continues.
Meanwhile, 404 settlements have no power supply due to hostilities and other reasons.
On Wednesday, 27 September, the evening maximum consumption was at the previous day level.
According to the head of the Mykolayiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, on the evening of 27 September, a Russian missile hit an infrastructure facility on the outskirts of Mykolayiv again.
Last night, air defence destroyed 34 Russian-launched Shaheds and six reconnaissance drones. The Russian attack was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups.
