Russians attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones from the northern and southern directions - Belgorod Region (Russia) and Cape Chauda (occupied Crimea) on the night of 12 October. A total of 33 Shaheds were launched, and the Air Defence Forces destroyed 28. This was reported on Telegram by the Air Force.
The launches of 33 Shaheds were recorded. The enemy UAVs flew in different directions, so air defence was operating in at least six regions of Ukraine.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the air attack.
In total, the Air Force's forces and assets, in cooperation with the air defense of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, destroyed 28 Shahed-131/136s that night.
