Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Vasyl Zvarych has called on Polish transporters to end the border blockade in a post on X. The diplomat called such actions by Poland a "painful stab in the back".

"The blocking of roads to the Polish-Ukrainian border crossings in Hrebenne, Dorohusk, Korczowa by Polish carriers is a painful stab in the back of Ukraine, which is suffering from Russian aggression," the ambassador said.

He added that the corridors of solidarity between Ukraine and the EU are under threat.

"We call for an end to the blockade of the border!" Zvarych said.

Polish carriers have gone on strike at the border crossings with Ukraine. This has hampered truck traffic.

The State Border Service of Ukraine said that the blocking of truck traffic in the direction of the Yahodyn-Dorohusk, Krakovets-Korczowa, and Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne checkpoints began after 1 p.m. Traffic is likely to be hampered both when entering and leaving Poland.
