At night, artillery shelling damaged a combined heat and power plant (CHPP) in the southern region, NPC Ukrenergo reported.
"There is damage to buildings and equipment. The heat supply to consumers was not interrupted, the possibilities for electricity supply are limited," the statement said.
It is noted that a unit at one of the thermal power plants has been put into operation.
The company also said that the electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is still sufficient to meet the needs of domestic and legal consumers.
In addition, the sunny weather contributes to the production of more electricity by solar power plants.
No consumption limits have been introduced. No blackout schedules have been introduced and are not expected.
