MP Iryna Herashchenko has said that signatures are being collected for the resignation of speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk. Accusations include failure to organize parliamentary work effectively, systematic violation of procedural rules, harassment of the opposition, and putting obstacles to MPs' work in the session hall and in interparliamentary activities. To register a draft resolution for the speaker's resignation, a minimum of 150 MP signatures is required.
In an update, MP Yehor Chernyev noted that MP Oleksiy Honcharenko is gathering signatures for the same cause. Chernyev expressed concern over political divisions during wartime, stating such actions indicate a lack of self-preservation instinct in the political class.
