The budget for 2025 does not provide for funds for elections, said Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.
This was announced at a briefing by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, an LB.UA correspondent reports.
‘During the period of martial law, as provided by law, elections will not be held in Ukraine. If martial law is lifted, if the relevant law on the so-called post-martial law elections is adopted, then budgeting issues will be determined. As of now, the budget is submitted based on the way we see it and the reality in Ukraine today,’ Stefanchuk said.
