Gas networks have eliminated an accident on the Kharkiv gas pipeline that occurred as a result of an Russian missile attack. This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz.
"In the morning, on 23 January, the Russian Federation hit a medium-pressure gas pipeline in Kharkiv. This winter, there have been no similarly large-scale attacks on the gas distribution sector in the city. Emergency dispatch teams of Gazmerezha immediately began to eliminate the accident. The work at the facility will continue until the consequences are fully eliminated, and the fire has been stopped," the statement said.
Gas delivery to the homes of Kharkiv residents will resume immediately after all the consequences of the Russian attack are eliminated and repairs are carried out.
