Over the past day, Russians fired 101 times at Kherson Region, launching 524 shells from mortars, artillery, multiple rocket launchers, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. According to updated reports, five people were killed and six others were wounded.
The enemy fired 26 shells at Kherson. The head of the RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.
"The Russian military hit residential areas of the Region's settlements; a pre-school and the territory of a plant in Beryslav," the message says.
Prokudin later clarified that the number of victims had increased from four to five.
"In Beryslav, a 47-year-old local resident sustained life-threatening injuries. In the evening, the occupants dropped a guided aerial bomb on the house where he was staying," he said.
Among those killed yesterday was a woman who died in a house in the village of Shlyakhove during the bombing. Russians dropped six guided bombs on Beryslav district.
