As a result of the shelling by the Russian army of the town of Hirnyk in Donetsk Region, two civilians were killed and eight others were wounded. A 16-year-old boy was seriously injured, the head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, has said.
"At least two people were killed and eight wounded as a result of a missile attack on Hirnyk. There is a 16-year-old boy among the wounded, he is in a very serious condition," said Filashkin.
The Russians hit a residential building in Hirnyk at around 4 pm today. Two more high-rise buildings and 43 cottage houses on five streets were damaged.
"Another targeted and deliberate attack on civilians, another war crime by the Russians. The enemy wants to kill as many Ukrainians as possible. In such circumstances, the right choice is to move from Donetsk Region to safer regions of Ukraine," he added.
