Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy had a telephone conversation with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland General Wieslaw Kukula.
"I spoke about the operational situation at the frontline. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold the defence areas and destroy the occupiers' manpower and equipment," Gen Zaluzhnyy noted.
The parties also discussed security risks and possible interaction, in particular, the training of Ukrainian servicemen in Poland, as well as the exchange of combat experience.
General Zaluzhnyy invited his Polish counterpart to Ukraine to work together in brigades and at command posts.
In addition, he told Kukula how Ukrainians counter Russian missile attacks.
"In this context, strengthening the capabilities of the Ukrainian air defence system is crucial. I am grateful to our Polish partners for their support and assistance," the Commander-in-Chief added.
