Air defence is in operation in Odesa Region due to a Russian drone attack, the Defence Forces South have said.
A fire broke out in residential neighbourhoods, they warned.
Odesa residents are asked to stay in shelters and not to share any footage of the attack.
Later, the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, said that a civil infrastructure facility was damaged.
He added that one person got burns and is being treated by medics.
