The SBU collected evidence against the head of a structural unit of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, who justified Russia's armed aggression and temporary occupation of Ukraine's territory. This was reported by the SBU press centre.
The SBU has recordings of conversations in which the suspect denies Ukraine's sovereignty and proposes to give the occupiers the southern Regions, including Odesa and Kherson.
In addition, in communication with his subordinate, the official glorified the mercenaries of the Russian so-called Wagner PMC and supported their participation in the war against our country. The judicial official also suggested launching a new offensive against Ukraine from the north to capture Lviv and neighbouring Regions.
"The offender expressed his hopes for a quick occupation of our country with the subsequent establishment of the Kremlin regime on its territory. A linguistic examination initiated by the SBU confirmed the facts of the official's subversive activities in favour of the aggressor country," the SBU said.
During the searches at the offender's residence, the SBU found: mobile phones and computers with evidence of criminal actions; almost 300 unaccounted ammunition for small arms; special technical means of illegal surveillance; pro-Kremlin literature.
The offender faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
