The government does not plan to introduce new services such as holding elections or sending summonses in the Diia mobile app, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhaylo Fedorov said on the air of the news telethon, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"There are no plans for summonses or elections," he said.

Fedorov noted that the Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to open the Diia code in February, so that developers from around the world can see how the app works.

What's happening with the Diia app

· On Saturday, 3 February, the national selection for Eurovision 2024 took place. After all the finalists performed, the hosts announced the start of the public voting, which this year takes place in Diia. However, due to the large number of simultaneous visits, the app crashed.

· Fedorov said that Diia had a record-high number of visits, exceeding 24,000 requests per second.

· In December 2023, the Centre for Countering Disinformation warned about fake "screenshots" of summonses in Diia.
