Russian troops struck Zolochiv in the Kharkiv Region at night. As a result, a hotel was destroyed, and a person may be under the rubble. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov.
"A three-storey hotel was destroyed. There is a person under the rubble, three people were rescued: 2 women and a man. There is also a fire on the facade of a shop," he wrote on Telegram.
The aftermath of the strikes is underway.
Later it was reported that rescuers have recovered the body of a two-month-old boy born on 4 December 2023 from the rubble of the three-storey hotel.
Three women aged 21, 28 and 39 were hospitalised with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds, including the mother of the deceased child.
Synyehubov also clarified that the Russians fired two S-300 missiles.
