Minister for Veterans' Affairs Yuliya Laputina has tendered her resignation request to parliament, speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk has said.
According to him, it will be considered at the next plenary session.
In November 2023, the public council under the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs called on Laputina to step down. In December, representatives of the veteran community voiced concerns about people associated with separatists and Russian propagandists taking part in the ministry's projects.
Laputina was appointed to the post in December 2020.
