Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov and Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyy have had a phone conversation with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, the Ukrainian Defence Ministry has said.
General Syrskyy briefed the US side on the frontline situation.
"We discussed a common understanding of the situation and an action plan. We also focused on the supply of ammunition. We are working on the immediate needs of the Armed Forces and long-term planning within the framework of the Ramstein coalitions of capabilities," Umerov said.
He also thanked Lloyd Austin for his leadership.
