Ukrhydroenergo CEO Ihor Syrota spoke to Radio Liberty about the state of DniproHES after the morning's Russian missile attack.
He said that there were two direct hits to the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station in Zaporizhzhya.
It is unknown whether HPP-2 can be restored, it is severely damaged. HPP-1 is also out of service.
One pillar was hit, and crane beams were broken.
"We will have to completely restore the engine room and electrical equipment. We will calculate the consequences during the day and understand what happened," said Ihor Syrota.
