Oleh Ivashchenko has been appointed the new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. The decree to this effect was published on the president's website.The previous head, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, became secretary of the National Security and Defence Council. Oleksiy Danilov, who held this position, has been dismissed without a new appointment.
