Last night, Russians attacked Ukrainian cities with drones. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"At night, the Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using 13 Shahed UAVs. The Ukrainian air defence forces managed to shoot down 10 of them," the statement said.

However, the Air Force Command reported Russian drone activity in the direction of Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Poltava Regions at night. Several drones also moved from Sumy Region through Kharkiv Region towards Dnipropetrovsk Region. 

According to updated information from the Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk, the occupiers attacked with Shahed-type strike UAVs from the Kursk Region. Ten drones were shot down within Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv Regions. 

"Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces were engaged in repelling the air attack," he said.
