Russians shell Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyy district

According to preliminary reports, the Shevchenkivskyy district came under fire. 

The Russian army shelled Kharkiv on Tuesday morning. The details of the shelling are being investigated, but it is known that the Shevchenkivskyy district of the city was hit. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov and Mayor Terekhov.

"A preliminary hit in the Shevchenkivskyy district of the city is reported. We are finding out the details," he wrote at 11:41 am.

Synyehubov said that residential buildings were hit, but the mayor later clarified that residential buildings were not damaged.

"A non-residential building was damaged, windows in a nearby multi-storey building were smashed. Fortunately, there are no casualties," he said.
