Today, 10 August, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhya once again. According to the State Emergency Service (SES), 20 people were wounded as a result of the Russian attack. As of 22:00, emergency rescue operations had been completed.
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Regional State Administration, one of the strikes hit the central bus station.
“The first people are already being admitted to hospitals. The rescue operation is continuing. Rescuers are clearing the rubble. There is preliminary information that people may remain under the rubble,” he said, adding that the Russians launched a second strike on the clinic of Zaporizhzhya Medical University. There were no casualties there.
At 17:50, Fedorov reported a threat of guided aerial bombs (KABs) being used in the Zaporizhzhya Region and Zaporizhzhya city.

Initial casualty reports. As of 18:53, eight people were confirmed injured, one of them seriously. Four people were in a condition that doctors described as moderate. Among the victims were men aged 24, 38, 39, 41, and 56, and women aged 25 and 77. Later, the number of victims rose to 12. The rescue operation continued.
Final figures. By 22:00, emergency rescue operations at the site of the shelling had been completed. Twenty people were confirmed injured, one of whom had been rescued from under the rubble of destroyed structures. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service assisted 15 people. Forty-four rescuers and 15 units of equipment from the State Emergency Service were involved in the clean-up operation.
Seven apartment buildings and non-residential premises were damaged as a result of the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhya. The buildings have broken windows and damaged roofs. Utility workers have already begun repairs to address the damage caused by the attack.
