Thanks to Ukrainian long-range strikes on Russian arsenals, the daily use of artillery shells by the Russian military has almost halved. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyy said this in an interview with lb.ua.
"Previously, the enemy could use 40,000 or more rounds of ammunition daily. But after Ukraine's strikes, the figure has changed dramatically.
"It used to fluctuate at 23, but now it's slightly upwards – at 27-28 thousand," Syrskyy said.
The increase may be due to the supply of ammunition from North Korea or Iran, or it may be due to increased domestic production.
The Defence Forces also hit several cities where Shahed UAVs are stored and airfields, forcing Russia to move its strike aircraft to a greater distance.
