The journalists visited the office of the Ukrainian Institute, where representatives of the Ukrainian Institute spoke about cross-sectoral initiatives and projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The Ukrainian Institute reports this on its website. The journalists also met with Alim Aliyev, Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Institute. They talked about cultural diplomacy during the war, Crimea and the Crimean Tatars.
Also on 14 May, Khrystyna Dmytryshyn, Programme Manager for Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa, joined the event ‘Ukraine and the global world: key messages for mutual understanding’ at the Ukraine Media Centre with the participation of journalists, Ukrainian international experts, cultural, business and civil society figures working with foreign audiences.
During the meeting, experts discussed Ukraine's relations with Asia and Africa, as well as key messages for effective communication and positioning of Ukraine in the world and in these regions.
