Over the past year, deliveries of machine tools to military-industrial complex enterprises in Russia have been recorded from at least 12 countries around the world, including China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, and the United States of America. There are also known contracts for deliveries planned for the next 26 years.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a conference on the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia, according to an LB.ua correspondent.
"Our common task is clear: as long as Russia is engaged in this war, the whole world must be as closed off to them as possible. This is about our security and about ordinary human sensitivity. This is what we must ensure with our sanctions regimes and those of our partners. Unfortunately, even Western countries continue to supply Russia with equipment and critical components," the president said.
According to the Head of State, Ukrainian experts have already identified hundreds of different components contained in Russian drones and missiles.
"Unfortunately, in the past year alone, deliveries of machine tools to Russian military-industrial complex enterprises were recorded from at least 12 countries around the world, including China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey and the United States of America. There are also known supply contracts planned for the next 26 years. All this must be stopped, without a doubt," the president urged.
Therefore, according to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, further pressure is needed on everyone in the world who helps Russia maintain its exports and who helps transport oil, to find ways to impose financial restrictions.
