Another ‘Ukrainian book shelf’ has been opened at the Namsan Library in Seoul, which has been operating for over a hundred years. This was reported on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea.
This is the third shelf with Ukrainian books in South Korea. Previously, they appeared in the Seoul Municipal Library and the Bedari Library in Pyeongtaek. Illustrated children's books by Ukrainian authors are also available at the National Library for Children and Youth in Korea.

Now, the Namsan Library, which has over half a million books and over a million readers a year, also has Ukrainian publications. These include books for children and teenagers translated into Korean, as well as publications on Ukrainian culture, language and history.
Ukrainian Ambassador Dmytro Ponomarenko was present at the opening and noted in his speech: ‘Books help cultures talk to each other.’
