On 20 June 2025, the Copernicus Centre hosted the premiere of the Franko Theatre's production of The Witch of Konotop. The production, directed by Ivan Uryvskyy, was based on the classic novel by Hryhoriy Kvitka-Osnovyanenko. It was first shown in Kyiv during the war in 2023 and quickly became the theatre's signature production and a powerful voice for Ukraine.

During the evening, audience members could leave donations to support Ukraine. The theatre team managed to raise 594,280 hryvnias during the evening. The theatre supports the Dronopad project, a charity fund called Come Back Alive, which aims to help protect the skies of Kharkiv from enemy drones. The theatre announced this on its Facebook page.
