Ukraine has launched Chapter Ukraine, a digital platform that collects comprehensive information about Ukrainian books translated into foreign languages. Its aim is to attract the attention of international readers to Ukrainian literature and strengthen its presence in libraries and bookshops worldwide. The co-founders of the Chytomo project wrote about this on their Facebook page.

The service offers convenient filters for searching for books and the ability to create selections that can be easily distributed among librarians and booksellers in different countries. The project is currently available in English, German and Spanish.

The selections are made by experts based on key criteria: professional translation, print run and sales, reviews on international platforms (including Goodreads), critical reviews in the media and a clear distribution system.

The project was initiated and developed by the Chytomo NGO and the Craft NGO. The visual style was created by Snig.Digital, while web development was provided by Kavi.Agency. Institutional partners included the Ukrainian Book Institute, PEN Ukraine, UNWLA and Razom for Ukraine.

The project team invites collaboration and emphasises that the database of translated books is constantly being updated.

The general partner of the CultHub project is Carpathian Mineral Waters. The company shares LB.ua's belief in the importance of cultural diplomacy and does not interfere with its editorial policy. All project materials are independent and created in accordance with professional standards.
