On 2 May, Berlin will host the second event in the Après Arbeit. Meet, Greet and Talk Ukraine salon series, this time dedicated to theatre. The Ukrainian Institute in Germany announced this on its Facebook page.

The discussion will feature theatre director Tamara Trunova, chief director of the Drama and Comedy Theatre on the Left Bank of the Dnipro, and Thomas Irmer, editor-in-chief of Theater der Zeit.

The participants will discuss German–Ukrainian theatre networks, current developments in Ukrainian theatre, and the challenges of forging an independent artistic voice whilst working abroad.

The event will take place at Serpen Gallery. The working language is English. Admission is free upon prior registration.

The series of events is organised by the Ukrainian Institute in Germany with financial support from the German Federal Foreign Office.
