This week, Russians attacked Ukraine with nearly 1,700 strike drones, more than 1,630 guided aerial bombs and 95 missiles of various types, half of them ballistic.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"All necessary services are working at the site where a strike drone hit residential buildings in Kharkiv. Sadly, one person was killed and nine others were injured, including two children. My condolences to their family and loved ones. State Emergency Service units continue to put out a fire at a regular building hypermarket in Kryvyy Rih. Overall, this night the Russians launched eight missiles and 136 drones of various types at Ukraine. Many targets were shot down, but unfortunately not all," the President commented on Russia’s overnight attack.

Kherson, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, Mykolayiv, Zaporizhzhya and Chernihiv Regions, as well as Kyiv, were hit. The capital was hit by a ballistic strike, leaving three people injured.

Overall, this week the Russians used against Ukraine nearly 1,700 drones, more than 1,630 aerial bombs and 95 missiles of various types, more than half of them ballistic.

"Every day we work with partners to ensure our warriors have what they need to counter these strikes. Russia’s bet on ballistic terror must be defeated. That is why it is so important that anti-ballistic packages arrive on time. Every interceptor missile right now literally helps save people’s lives if it is here, in Ukrainian systems, and not in partners’ warehouses. Thank you to everyone who is helping in exactly this way," the statement said.
