The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has appealed to media representatives and the public to use only the official social media pages of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhaylo Drapatyy.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff stressed that Mykhaylo Drapatyy’s official pages are the accounts on Facebook, X and Viber.
The military command urged citizens and journalists to trust only verified sources of information in order to avoid spreading fakes and unreliable reports.
What preceded this
Earlier, a fake post circulated on the X network, allegedly published on behalf of Mykhaylo Drapatyy, claiming that an audit had supposedly begun in the Armed Forces of Ukraine of readiness, provision, staffing and the effectiveness of command.
The fake message also said that “no one will be untouchable” and that everyone allegedly guilty of violations would be held accountable.
