In the Bilohorodka community, the Russian army attacked Nova Poshta warehouses and a nearby production facility overnight on 28 August. Work to deal with the aftermath of the strike is ongoing.
Bilohorodka village head Anton Ovsiienko reported on Facebook that the enemy used a double-tap strike tactic. An hour after the first strike, while the fire was being tackled, the Russians hit the same location twice more.
“The rescuers managed to move to a safer place. That is why I strongly urge you not to approach the scene. It is dangerous,” he said.
Residents of Sviatopetrivske and neighbouring settlements have been urged not to go outside unless necessary and to keep windows closed. Traffic is also restricted on part of Kyivska Street towards Boiarka, and on parts of Industrialna Street and Chornovola Street in Sviatopetrivske.
- The drone attack on Kyiv Region and the capital has effectively been ongoing for more than a day: the enemy is launching unmanned aerial vehicles with only short breaks. Nova Poshta reported that its terminals were hit in Kyiv Region and Sumy. Staff survived.
