Two people were killed yesterday in the Sumy region as a result of Russian shelling. Another 12 people were wounded, including a child.
The regional police reported this.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 54-year-old woman was killed after an enemy drone hit a residential building.
In the Sumy community, Russian forces carried out strikes with guided aerial bombs. A man was killed; his identity is currently being established. Three men aged 40, 60 and 75, as well as two women aged 54 and 74, sustained bodily injuries. Doctors also diagnosed two women aged 20 and 84 with an acute stress reaction.
In addition, a 65-year-old woman and two other people, including a child, were injured after an enemy UAV strike. Their identities are being established. In another drone strike, a 61-year-old man was injured.
A 64-year-old man also sought medical attention after sustaining bodily injuries in an enemy UAV attack on the territory of the Romny community on 26 August.
Police investigative and operational teams, bomb disposal experts and other specialist services are working at the sites of the enemy attacks.
