Ukrainian troops have struck the Russian Nebo-U radar station at the Millerovo military airfield in Russia’s Rostov Region.
The 429th Separate Brigade ACHILLES reported this on Telegram.
The strike on the radar was carried out by fighters from the long-range strike company. The estimated cost of such a system is about $100 million.
ACHILLES said Ukrainian forces are seeking to establish fire control over the Millerovo airfield, which is located about 170 km from the line of contact.
The Russian army regularly uses this airfield to launch strike and decoy drones, including Shaheds. From here, according to the Ukrainian military, attacks are carried out against eastern, central and northern regions of Ukraine.
- Yesterday, 26 August, and overnight into today, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces hit a number of important enemy targets. In particular, in the Donetsk area, air-launched missiles struck the main and reserve command posts of the Russian occupiers.
- Also, in the Chonhar area of Kherson Region, other means were used to hit an enemy repair-and-recovery unit and a UAV control point in Olenivka in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukrainian Crimea.
