Over the past 24 hours, as of 6:00 on 28 August, Russia killed one person in Kherson Region and wounded another 11. One of the wounded died in hospital in the morning. He was a 61-year-old man.
The enemy attacked him with a drone today in central Kherson. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Prokudin, on Telegram.
Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Oleksandrivka, Kizomys, Rozlyv, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Dniprovske, Beryslav, Urozhayne, Novoraisk, Novovoskresenske, Rakivka, Charivne, Shevchenkivka, Zolota Balka, Kostyrka, Mykhailivka, Tiahynka, Khreshchenivka, Novovorontsovka, Tryfonivka and Kherson were subjected to enemy air strikes, drone terror and artillery shelling.
“Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure and residential areas in settlements across the region, damaging five apartment blocks and 10 private houses in particular. The occupiers also wrecked a mobile phone tower, a gas pipeline, a route minibus, agricultural machinery and private cars,” Prokudin said.

The head of the Kherson City Military Administration, Yaroslav Shanko, reported that yesterday the enemy killed a person with a drone at the intersection of Komkova and Oleksandrivska streets. Four people were injured on Independence Avenue, where the enemy struck a minibus. Another person was wounded after explosives were dropped from an enemy drone on 49th Guards Kherson Division Street. The Russians continue their “hunt” for people.
