On the night of 30 August 2026, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of key enemy targets, including an oil refinery, drone launch sites and an airfield.

The General Staff reported this.

In Kirishi, Leningrad Region, the Kirishsky oil refinery was hit, followed by a fire on the plant’s premises.

It is Russia’s second-largest oil refinery by capacity and the biggest in the country’s north-west, located in Leningrad Region. The facility’s capacity is about 20 million tonnes of oil per year. The plant produces motor fuels, aviation fuel, diesel fuel and other petroleum products. The facility is involved in meeting the needs of Russia’s armed forces.

Also in Millerovo, Rostov Region, a storage, preparation and launch site for strike UAVs was hit. A fire was recorded there.

In addition, in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, the Yeysk airfield was hit, followed by a fire on the site.
