At Least 27 Killed in Yesterday’s Strike and Blast in Bucha District

More than four dozen others were injured, including children.

At least 27 people were killed as a result of yesterday’s Russian strike on Bucha district. The figure may not be final.

Forty-two people were injured, including four children. Seven people had to be taken to hospital, Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said.

About 50 residential buildings were damaged.

“381 people were evacuated from the emergency zone, including 59 children. An оперативний штаб has been set up in Dmytrivka to process requests from local residents. Hot meals and psychological support are also available at the headquarters,” Tkachenko said.

Residents of damaged homes can contact the headquarters for help with temporary accommodation.

“As of now, emergency rescue and firefighting operations are continuing at the site. Structures are being dismantled, fires extinguished, search-and-rescue operations carried out, and buildings and the surrounding area inspected,” the head of the administration added.
