Overnight Attack: Russia Launches Two Missiles and 267 Drones

Defenders neutralised 233 drones. 

On the night of 29 August, starting from 18:00, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Oniks anti-ship missile, an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 267 attack UAVs, including jet-powered ones, as well as decoy drones. The missiles were launched from Crimea, while drones and Banderol systems were launched from Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Donetsk and Crimea. 

According to preliminary information as of 08:30, defenders neutralised 233 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, in the north, south, east and centre of the country. This was reported by the Air Force

“Impacts by the enemy’s air attack weapons were recorded at 15 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at four locations. In addition, some enemy strike assets did not reach their targets; information on them is being уточнюється. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace,” the statement said.

Yesterday during the day, from 06:30 to 19:00, Russia attacked Ukraine with seven S8000 Banderol systems and 96 attack UAVs. Most of the drones were directed at the capital.
