Russian forces have struck Sumy, reportedly using a multiple-launch rocket system. The attack injured people and damaged warehouses and vehicles.
This was reported by Oleg Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
The attack hit the city’s Zarichnyi district. Seven people are currently known to have been hospitalised, one of them in serious condition. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
A rescue operation is underway at the site. Details of the consequences of the attack are still being clarified.
