Between 26 and 28 August, the Unmanned Systems Forces attacked 21 energy hubs in occupied territory and the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant. This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert (Madyar) Brovdi.
He described it as the “East—Giddy-Up” operation, a “branch” of the “Crimean Switch Off” operation. The strikes were carried out after attacks on the CHP plant in Kherson.
“It turns out this is a two-player game. Winter will be early and dark. In Crimea too,” Madyar commented.
Over three days, the following were hit in the occupied territory:
- Luhansk Thermal Power Plant “Shchastia”, the settlement of Shchastia, Luhansk Region; the strike was carried out by the 1st Separate Centre of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the 427th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Rarog”, and the 413th Separate Unit of the Unmanned Systems Forces “Raid
