Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the results of strikes by the Defence Forces on Russian targets.
He wrote about this on Telegram.
According to the head of state, over the past day soldiers of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck an oil refinery in the Yaroslavl Region. The distance is 1,000 kilometres from the front line. There were also “our fair responses” to Russia’s war in the Black Sea.
In Russia’s Engels, SBU Alpha fighters struck a Tu-95MS missile carrier. It is precisely such aircraft that carry out strikes on Ukraine.
“Thank you to all our soldiers for your accuracy! This is all a response to their strikes. Russians must feel what their war is like,” Zelenskyy wrote.
- During the night of 28 August, the Defence Forces attacked the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl. A fire was recorded on the plant’s premises.
