The 1,649th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 221 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The heaviest fighting took place on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out four missile strikes using five missiles, conducted 79 air strikes during which it dropped 292 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 11,357 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,138 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 60 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.
Enemy artillery shelling, in particular, hit the settlements of Neskuchne, Korenok, Potapivka, Mala Korchakivka, Volfyne, Atynske, Sopych, Bachivsk, Tovstodubove in Sumy region; and Liskivshchyna in Chernihiv region.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck 14 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, seven artillery systems, six UAV control points and three other key enemy targets.
On the North Slobozhanskyi and Kursk axes, five clashes were recorded over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out 167 attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas. The enemy also launched two air strikes using five guided aerial bombs.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units repelled 10 enemy attacks. The invaders tried to advance towards the settlements of Lyman, Hrafske, Chuhunivka, Ozerne, Khatnie and in the area of Starytsia.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy carried out two offensive actions towards the settlements of Radkivka and Podoly.
Attempts to break into our defences were repelled on the Lyman axis, where the occupiers attacked nine times in the areas of Novoselivka, Cherneshchyna and near Lyman and Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk axis, the enemy carried out eight assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kryva Luka, Riznykivka, Zakitne and towards Orikhuvatka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, Russian invaders did not conduct assault actions.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, 31 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Rusyn Yar, Toretske, Sofiivka and towards Mykolaipillia and Kucheriv Yar.
The enemy carried out 30 attacks on the Pokrovsk axis. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Novopidhordne, Novyi Donbas and in the areas of the settlements of Udachne, Horikhove and Novomykolaivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy carried out four attacks towards Berezove.
On the Huliaipole axis, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 10 times. The enemy tried to advance towards the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Novoselivka, Kalynivske, Nove Zaporizhzhia and Maliivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to move forward in the areas of Pavlivka and Mala Tokmachka.
On the Dnipro axis, the enemy did not conduct assault actions over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,400 personnel. Also neutralised were one tank, seven armoured combat vehicles, 59 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence system, six ground robotic systems, 1,963 unmanned aerial vehicles, 394 vehicles and six units of the enemy’s special equipment.
