On 29 August, police recorded 1,297 enemy strikes along the front line and in residential areas of Donetsk Region. The cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, as well as the villages of Dmytrivka, Zavydo-Kudasheve and Stepanivka, came under Russian fire. Seven people were injured.
This was reported by the National Police.
Twenty-eight civilian sites were damaged, including 10 homes.
Kramatorsk endured 14 enemy attacks, mostly by drones. Three people were injured there. Two apartment blocks, a hospital, state symbols, three civilian cars and a bus were damaged.
The enemy attacked Druzhkivka with drones; three civilians were injured in the city, and a car was damaged.
Russian forces struck Sloviansk eight times, using multiple-launch rocket systems as well as various types of drones. Four apartment blocks and four private houses, along with two cars, were damaged.
As a result of enemy shelling in Zavydo-Kudasheve, a civilian was injured; in Dmytrivka and Stepanivka, one lorry was damaged in each village.
Police and the Security Service of Ukraine have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
