On the night of 7 September, operators from the Active Operations Department of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence struck a Russian aircraft in temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Active Operations Department of the Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence.

Intelligence officials noted that the extent of the aircraft’s damage is currently being clarified.

“Tonight, operators from the Active Operations Department of the Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence hit an enemy aircraft on the temporarily occupied peninsula. The extent of the damage is being clarified,” the statement said.

The department also added that “a celebration without presents is no celebration”.
