Germany will provide Ukraine with additional PAC-2 interceptor missiles for Patriot air defence systems directly from Bundeswehr stockpiles.
German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius announced this during a Ramstein meeting, The Guardian reports.
According to the German minister, the decision was taken to urgently meet the needs of Ukraine’s armed forces.
In addition to missiles for Patriot systems, Germany will also increase deliveries of air-to-air missiles. Furthermore, Berlin will continue systematically supplying Ukraine with drones and long-range munitions.
