Russian forces carried out several missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. The attack damaged residential buildings and set cars alight. The number of casualties has risen to five.
This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhia Region Defence Council and Mykhailo Semikin, acting head of the Regional Military Administration.
During the night of 17 October, Russian forces launched missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia. As of the morning, five civilians are known to have been injured. Among them is an 11-year-old girl. All those affected are receiving medical assistance.
Residential buildings were also damaged, and fires broke out in cars.
