Ukraine has received more than 253 tonnes of energy equipment from Lithuania, which will help strengthen the resilience of the power system and support reliable electricity supplies for consumers during the war.

This was reported by Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy.

From the Ministry of Energy’s hub warehouses, three power transformers were delivered for the needs of Khmelnytskyi Region. Ukraine also received a 200 MVA autotransformer and 76 units of auxiliary equipment.

The equipment provided is expected to help reinforce Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and increase its ability to operate amid wartime threats.

Such support is particularly important given the constant risks to energy facilities and the need to ensure a stable supply of electricity to residents and businesses.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy expressed its gratitude to Lithuanian partners, the company AB Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius (ESO) and the charity Blue/Yellow, for their contribution to strengthening the country’s energy resilience.

The Ukrainian side also offered separate thanks to the European Commission’s Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO), which provided logistical support for the delivery of the equipment.
