The government has allocated UAH 187.6m to restore 33 apartment blocks damaged as a result of Russian aggression in the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy and Kyiv regions. The funds from the Fund for Eliminating the Consequences of Armed Aggression will be transferred to local budgets.
This was reported by Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi.
The funding is earmarked for the restoration of three buildings in Kryvyi Rih, 20 in Sumy and 10 in the Kyiv region.
According to Koretskyi, this will help more than 4,000 residents return to their homes as quickly as possible.
"With limited budget resources, we continue to find opportunities to implement recovery projects in order to help people whose homes have been damaged by Russian attacks," Serhii Koretskyi noted.
- Ukraine has secured €50m from the Council of Europe Development Bank and the Italian government for compensation for homes destroyed as a result of the war. The funds will be directed towards housing certificates under the eVidnovlennia programme.
