Since 1 October 2015, when the epidemic season began, 46 people have died of flu in Ukraine, Deputy Health Minister Roman Vasylyshyn has said at a meeting of the state emergencies commission.
The current incidence is 31.8 per 10,000, with the epidemic threshold set at 58.
On 10 January, the Health Ministry said that 25 people had died of flu since 1 October.
The so-called swine flu, A(H1N1), has been raging in Ukraine since December. Last time it hit the country in 2009-2010, killing 1,127 out of 6,355,402 infected people.
