Invaders reported at Kakhovka hydropower plant

All nuclear power plants are fully operational.

At 11:28 a.m. Kyiv time, unknown gunmen entered Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant in the Kherson region. There are tanks without identification marks on the dam.

This was reported be the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine around 2 P.M. Kyiv time. Information about the intruders was published on the Ministry’s web paged under the chapter called "terrorism, sabotage and other extremist activities at the facilities of the electric power industry of Ukraine".

Earlier, Ukrainian “Public” TV channel with reference to the mayor of Tavriya Mykola Rizak wrote that Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant was captured by the invadors which hung Russian national flag - “tricolor”.

An explosion took place at Trypillya thermal power station in Kyiv region, but it is still operational.

"All Ukrainian nuclear power plants - Zaporizhia, Rivne, Khmelnytsky and South-Ukrainian - are operating normally, electricity generation is stable, according to the approved schedule, all planned measures are being taken. There are no intrusion and conditions are safe to operate. The radiation, fire and environmental conditions at the nuclear power plants have not changed and are within the current norms," the ministry said.
